Impact Today! Adam Foss on the Power of One
Impact Today! is a speaker series hosted by the Impact Center for Public Interest Law. The series highlights how current events impact civil rights and civil liberties.
Adam Foss is the founder of “Prosecutor Impact”, a non-profit organization focused on the prosecutor’s role in ending mass incarceration. A former Assistant District Attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Boston, Massachusetts, Foss dedicates his career to training prosecutors on how to harness their unique power to fairly seek justice. He will discuss his experience as a prosecutor, how the profession is ripe for reinvention, and “The Power of One”. Join us for this conversation, hosted by Professor Alvin Bragg, Co-Director of NYLS’s Racial Justice Project.
This event is open to NYLS students, faculty, and staff.
