Founded in 1891, New York Law School is one of the largest and oldest independent non-profit law schools in the United States. New York Law School operates under a charter granted by the Board of Regents of the State of New York, is fully approved by the American Bar Association through its Council of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar, and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools. The Law School’s curriculum is registered with and approved by the New York State Education Department.
