Administration

New York Law School is headed by Richard A. Matasar, who is the dean and president of the School and professor of law. Beyond the Dean’s Office, the administration of the School is divided into eight areas: Academic Affairs, Academic Publishing, Faculty Development, Professional Development, Finance and Administration, Development and Alumni Relations, Communications and Marketing, and the Library. An Associate Dean or Vice President heads each of these areas. The Office of Admissions and Financial Aid is headed by an assistant dean reporting directly to the Dean. The Offices of Career Services and Student Services are headed by assistant deans who report to the Associate Dean for Professional Development.
