Errol Taylor is a partner in the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and leads the firm’s biopharma patent litigation practice. A partner since 2003, he chairs Milbank’s Diversity Committee.
Mr. Taylor serves as Co-Chair of the Advisory Board for the Innovation Center for Law and Technology at New York Law School.

Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Taylor focuses mainly on representing pharmaceutical, biotechnology and chemical companies in patent litigation and related counseling. He has particular expertise in cases involving generic drug approvals and the Hatch-Waxman Act. Mr. Taylor has served as lead trial counsel in numerous multi-party, multinational cases involving some of the world’s most prescribed medicines.

Mr. Taylor has been recognized as one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical litigators by numerous publications and journals, among them: Chambers USA, PLC Which Lawyers?, Super Lawyers, and IAM Magazine, which selected him as one of the 250 top patent litigators in the world and in the first tier of New York lawyers. In 2003, he was selected by The National Law Journal as one of the nation’s top trial lawyers. Mr. Taylor was President of the Board for the Chapin School in Princeton, NJ, and serves on the Board of The Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.
