Located in TriBeCa—within the heart of New York City’s finance, civic, legal and growing tech corridors—the striking high-tech facility provides a perfect setting for meetings, conferences, classes, expos, receptions and social events.

The Law School’s celebrated new 235,000-square-foot academic center features a dynamic mix of facilities including a 286-seat Auditorium/Lecture Hall, a 5,000-square-foot flexible Event Center, two Grand Galleries for receptions, a spectacular 5th Floor Cafe and Terrace space, and a multitude of seminar rooms, class rooms and lecture halls comfortably accommodate groups of 15 to 135 attendees.

In addition to best-in-class facilities, NYLS’s Events Management team is ready to provide the highest level of one-stop professional services to help plan and manage your event. Our in-house caterers, on–site Audio/Visual team, and dedicated Event’s Management liaison will be on hand to ensure a great experience for you and your guests from start to finish.

Communication and seamless programming are the key to any successful event. That’s why the entire NYLS campus is outfitted with ultra-modern classrooms and meeting spaces all optimized for effective staging, conversation, and collaboration.

Our Auditorium/Lecture Hall, which seats 286 guests, offers the latest meeting resources in a contemporary setting. Top-notch lighting and acoustics, current “smart podium” technology, and the newest tools for media-based programs enable conference presentations, film screenings, and interactive conversations to happen at the touch of a button.

Enjoy maximum flexibility in our 5,000 square-foot Events Center, which can be configured for a working business lunch for 50, a high-tech presentation for 200, or an elegant banquet or reception for 300.

Host a more intimate presentation, board meeting, or team retreat in our sophisticated Boardroom, which seats 25. Or utilize any number of our 40 other state-of-the-art seminar rooms, conference spaces, or classrooms which can accommodate groups of 15 to 135.

Finally, the beautiful, indoor-outdoor Rooftop Terrace and Lounge overlooking the Manhattan skyline and offering seating for 175 guests indoors and 50 outdoors, can provide a memorable setting for a distinctive event.

Our on-site caterer CulinArt, offers a menu to fit any occasion or price point: from a simple continental breakfast to  multicourse lunch or dinner, to a certified glatt kosher reception.

And your liaison from our events management team will work with you to find the menu and presentation that’s right for you.

New York Law School facilities and professional service centers are available year-round to manage all of the business solutions to help make your event a success: from our in-house catering service and full on-site kitchen to our expert audiovisual technicians, information-technology team, and professional event managers.

Every event space is equipped with LCD projectors and screens, along with multimedia and Web access – all  supported with on-site technical assistance from our A/V service team.

Expert in-house technicians can provide professional HD or SD video recording, and webcasting services.

WiFi access is available throughout the campus, and a personalized WiFi access point can be created to provide seamless log-on for unfettered high-speed Internet connectivity.

With everything from tables and chairs, risers and easels, white boards and podium already in house, there’s no need to rent the big and little items needed for your next event.

Can we use our own caterers for our event?
We strongly encourage groups to use our in-house catering services, but we do allow outside food and catering to be brought in upon request; additional charges may apply.

Do you provide discounts for nonprofit groups?
Yes, as a not-for-profit educational institution, we value our ability to serve other nonprofit groups, and a significant discounted rate is provided for space rentals.

Can you recommend or do you have relationships with any hotels in the area?
Yes, we have developed several partnerships with area hotels, and a list of both partner hotels and other neighborhood hotels can be provided by our event staff.

Do your facilities have available WiFi access?
Yes, each room and every public space throughout our campus has WiFi access.

Does your Auditorium projector project images in HD or SD? And what are the dimensions?
Yes in HD. The projection is a 16 x 9 aspect ratio with 1280p x 720p.

Do have the capacity to record events and/or live-stream events?
Yes, every room in the school has built-in video capture capacity as well as live-streaming capacity. Note that our built-in camera system only records in SD, however we also have A/V technicians who are also available to provide additional recording in HD if requested; additional charges may apply.

What types of microphones are available in your Auditorium and Event Center?
NYLS can support up to four (4) wireless mics (handheld or lapel) in our event spaces.

Would we be permitted to use our own videographer for an event?
Yes.
