ADVANCED CON LAW: THE 14TH AMENDMENT (3) (CON 525)

This advanced constitutional law course expands upon the individual liberty and equality issues covered in Introduction to Constitutional law.  The class will focus on the history and interpretation of the Reconstruction amendments, including issues related to race and sex-based classifications, economic rights, incorporation of the Bill of Rights, and the scope of individual liberties protected under the Due Process Clause, including reproductive rights.
