FAMILY FORMATION: ADOPTION AND ASSISTED REPRODUCTION (3) (FAM 200)

Professor Carlin Meyer

This course will explore the law surrounding formation of families using new reproductive technologies, adoption, surrogacy, and other non-traditional forms of family formation.  It will explore moral, ethical, historical and practical issues, as well as those that more directly pertain to law, and will address international issues.  Students are expected to be active participants, and will be assigned to assist in leading classes, react to various assigned readings, and interview guest speakers and more.
