This course will examine and analyze all of the laws and regulations that exist within the European Union that relate to financial services firms, who are the key EU regulators, how the EU establishes the regulation of various financial products traded by institutions located within in the EU, how non-EU firms may engage in business within the EU, how the EU specifically regulates such transactions and firms, and haw the EU regulations compare to those established in the U.S.
