Explores major FIrst Amendment provisions, which protect freedom of expression adn religious liberty.  The course will also examine the rights that the Supreme Court has held to be implicitly protected by the First Amendment, including freedom of association and freedom of conscience.

Co-requisite is Introduction to Constitutional Law.  Students who take this course are restricted from taking Constitutional Law: Free Speech or Religion and the Constitution.
