Professors Michael Perlin and TBA
Master’s
degree students must successfully complete an independent writing project
in their last semester in order to graduate. The writing project must
relate to one or more of the topics covered in the substantive courses and
must be 35-50 pages. The project will be supervised by Prof. Michael
Perlin, Director, Online Mental Disability Law Program and/or the
program’s adjunct faculty. Students will be offered the option to
convert their writing project into a paper appropriate for publication in
a scholarly journal. In these instances, the faculty would work with the
students to effectuate the paper conversion process and subsequent
publication.
This course is a requirement for master’s degree
students and not open to JD or certificate students. Master’s
degree students are only permitted to register for the course as part of
their last semester in the program.
