MODERN SUPREME COURT (2) (CON301)

Professor James Simon

Designed for students who have completed Constitutional Law I and II. Emphasizes the Supreme Court as an institution and the philosophies and personalities of the individual justices, rather than pure constitutional doctrine. The seminar covers the period from the late 1930s to the present and includes judicial history and biography as well as case analysis. A paper is required. Enrollment is limited.
