NEW JERSEY ESTATE ADMINISTRATION (2) (EST 116)

Professor Gerard Brew

Covers the administration of an estate under New Jersey Law, beginning with a practical review of the probate process; procedures to collect assets and the payment of expenses; filing of estate tax returns and payment of taxes; preparing the final account and settlement of the estate. This course is appropriate for students interested in New Jersey estate administration law or in other states that apply the Uniform Probate Code. Students interested in the law of both NY and NJ are strongly advised to take this course and New York Wills Practice rather than NY Estate Administration.
