NEW YORK PRACTICE, ADVANCED: DISCOVERY (2) (PRO150)

Professor David Horowitz

Explores each significant component of the discovery phase of civil practice, in both federal and New York courts, through a combination of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on practice. Students receive an initial case file to build upon and are directed to leading and developing case law. During each class students will draft discovery demands and/or responses, draft discovery outlines and/or questions, and participate in mock deposition questioning.

Prerequisite or co-requisite: New York Practice (PRO130).
