Real Estate Externship Seminar (2) (LND 705)

Professors Berman, Bond, Korngold, and Tracht

The Real Estate Externship Seminar is a 1-credit course required for all students enrolled in the 2-credit externship and placed in an organization focused on real estate or land use. The seminar will meet seven times over the course of the term. It will provide students with an opportunity to explore substantive areas of real estate law and/or other issues relating to the practice of real estate law (such as ethics, law practice management, interactions with supervisors and clients, policy issues, business concerns, career planning and evaluation, etc) in a classroom setting. In addition, the students will have an opportunity to discuss their placements with each other in order to see what common issues arise in the legal practice of real estate.

Co-requisite: Externship Placement with Organization focused on real estate or land use
