Reproductive Rights Law (2) (FAM205)

Professor Brigitte Amiri

Examines privacy and other jurisprudence as it relates to reproductive rights. Focuses on traditional issues, such as contraception and abortion, as well as emerging issues, such as birthing rights and assisted reproductive technologies. Explores reproductive privacy issues for certain populations, including teens, women in prison, and low income women. Delve into the legal reasoning behind historical and recent U.S. Supreme Court reproductive rights decisions, as well as other sources of reproductive law, including state constitutions, statutory provisions, and international law.
