Certificate of Advanced Study in Real Estate Law

 

The Certificate of Advanced Study in Real Estate Law provides specialized training to professionals (lawyers and non-lawyers alike) seeking to enhance their expertise in real estate. Students complete eight credits in an area of concentration and receive a certificate of advanced study evidencing their mastery of that area of law. Through the certificate program, students can enhance their knowledge of the legal issues, economic, and policy concerns involved in real estate transactions, development and financing, and study the real estate industry and regulatory structures in place for land-use planning, property development and real estate transactions. Each certificate requires the completion of 8 credits of course work in the specific field of concentration, selected from a range of relevant classes. Courses are available both on NYLS’s Tribeca campus and online. All online courses are live and fully interactive, structured to encourage participation and provide individualized instruction and feedback.
