TAX 403 Professional Responsibility in Tax Practice: Annual Tax Lawyering Workshop is one of the required core courses in the Graduate Tax Program at New York Law School. There are two parts to the requirement: (1) attendance at one of the Annual Workshops and (2) a five page response paper. For graduating students, the five page response paper is due on May 18, 2012.
All students in the Graduate Tax Program are encouraged to attend the Annual Workshop each year. The challenges of tax practice are numerous and it is important to set aside time to focus professional responsibility and ethics.
CLE credits
New York Law School has
been certified by the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board as
an Accredited Provider of CLE programs. This program is transitional and
has been approved for newly admitted attorneys within the first two years
of admission to the Bar as well as for experienced attorneys. The entire
Workshop is approved for five and one-half (5) CLE credit hours in ethics.
The First Session is approved for two (2.0) CLE credit hours in ethics, the
Second Session is approved for one and a half (1.5) CLE credit hours
in ethics,and the Master Class is approved for one and a half (1.5)
credit hour in ethics. Program materials will be available in advance
through the Graduate Tax Program office (212-431-2305) and at
registration.
A continental breakfast and informal lunch will be provided.
There will be no charge to attend this CLE program.
