Sex Crimes and Child Abuse
Sex Crimes and Child Abuse is a combination lecture, discussion, and trial advocacy course. The course will cover key aspects of sexual assault and child abuse including DNA, rape shield law, date rape, cyber predators, statutory sexual assault, Megan‘s Law, shaken baby syndrome, and other evidentiary issues. Students will be required to participate in class discussions and mock trial exercises, and they have the option of a paper or final exam.
This course is not open to anyone who took child victims and the law.
