Visiting and Transfer Students

Dear Visiting and Transfer Students,

Welcome to New York Law School!

Now that you have submitted your second deposit you will be able to register for classes, view class assignments and generally take advantage of the wide range of services available to you at New York Law School.

If you are a visiting student and you have not registered for classes, your first step is to register for classes for the upcoming semester. You may register online for courses via our portal at my.nyls.edu.  However you need a user ID and password to login to the portal. Your user ID and password will be sent to your non-NYLS email address.

If you are a transfer student, please e-mail Ms. Sondra Downing a list of the courses you intend to register for. Our class schedule is available online at Schedule of Classes. Please note that there is no waitlist for courses that are closed. The list of closed courses is available online at our registration home page.

*Note: All visiting and transfer students must refer to the Student Handbook (see link below) prior to registering for important information regarding the sequence of required courses. Also, please note that you may not register for any course that is listed as a "binding registration course" on the schedule of classes.
