Hall of Judges

We are honored to announce that New York Law School, in connection with the NYLS Alumni Association, unveiled our Hall of Judges – a special place on campus that recognizes more than 200 alumni who have attained one of the most respected positions in the legal profession.

The Hall of Judges recognizes active and retired judges at all levels of the judiciary in all jurisdictions. An honorary wall was dedicated on April 30, 2016 in our new Plumeri Center for Social Justice and Economic Opportunity, a centrally-located space that was recently transformed to provide state-of-the-art resources for more than 20 NYLS Clinical Programs. It is a busy and vibrant location serving students, faculty and visitors, and is the home of the Law School’s law firm and its Moot Courtroom.

The Hall of Judges honors each sitting judge with an individual headshot-style portrait indicating the current court over which they preside and the date of their appointment to the judiciary. All retired and deceased judges are honored with their name, graduation year, and most recent court.

The Hall of Judges recognizes the achievements of our alumni in the judiciary, and inspires NYLS students to pursue a similar career path.  If you would like to make a gift to support the Hall of Judges, you can do so here.
