A Commitment to Diversity
New York Law School deeply values diversity. We strive to create an environment in which each individual is welcomed, supported, and given the tools needed to succeed regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, cultural backgrounds, educational experience, political perspectives, and physical ability or disability. We also specifically promote the success of students who have served in the military.
The Office of Career Planning is committed to seeking out and promoting career opportunities for students from groups that have been traditionally underrepresented in the legal community. Our office aims to promote diversity in the profession by connecting current students and alumni with fellowships, internships, job fairs, diverse professional associations, and cultural and social events. One-on-one counseling is available to help students take full advantage of these opportunities, build networks, and develop the professional skills that will ensure future success.
Please visit the Diversity Resources channel on the New York Law School Portal for an up-to-date list of current employment opportunities and diversity events, or contact Nadjia Bailey, Associate Director of Career Planning and Deputy Diversity Officer, for more information.
