Transactional Law Clinic Seminar and Fieldwork
The Transactional Law Clinic (TLC) is a two-consecutive-semester, 8-credit clinic (2 seminar and 2 fieldwork credits per semester), which will provide pro bono transactional legal services for underresourced start-up businesses, entrepreneurs, and nonprofit entities in New York City and its surrounding boroughs. The TLC will be composed of eight students who will be broken into two-person teams who will be supervised by Professor Howard Meyers and Professor Lynnise Pantin. The clinic will be of interest to students interested in learning to work with organizational clients and learning to represent clients in transactions. Students who register for the course are committed to participating for the fall and spring semesters. In addition, students must have taken Corporations as a Prerequisite to the course.
