- Overview and role of the Mayor’s Office of Contract Services: City procurement indicators.
- Updates: Best value procurements, intergovernmental purchases and joint bidding.
- The HHS Accelerator process and standard human services contracts.

Session 2: Managing the Procurement Process: Responsibility and Performance Issues
- Standards for responsibility determinations; steps contractors can take to resolve past problems, including IPSIGs and vendor rehabilitation; handling audits and disputes: understanding performance evaluations and cautions.
- Prequalification of contractors to bid on construction and project labor agreements.
