Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service
NYLS’s Impact Center for Public Interest Law and Center for Real Estate Studies are organizing a group volunteer project with New York Cares for students, faculty and staff as part of MLK Day of Service. Families are welcome!
Date/Time: January 16, 2017, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Location: PS 194 M, 242 West 144th Street, New York, NY 10030
Activities: Volunteers should be prepared to participate in any of the following activities on the day: “leveling” the library, painting school hallways, painting canvas murals, working with children on literacy and craft or fitness activities, storage cleanout, games with seniors, or assembling care packages to be donated to a local agency. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
