As part of an independent study course, a limited number of students will be placed as externs with the civil and criminal trial courts under the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of Morelos. Students generally spend two to three hours a day in the trial courts, observing proceedings, reviewing and sometimes drafting documents, and interacting with judges, court clerks, and attorneys. Interested students must contact Professor Abriel or Vetter for pre-approval. An optional independent study paper (for one credit) is available to students who are placed as externs.
