L. Stanton Towne

Adjunct Professor

 L. Stanton Towne,  is the Senior Managing Director at Studley.  He brings to Studley an unmatched expertise in analyzing leases and understanding the terms needed to accomplish his clients’ business goals.  Mr. Towne came to Studley with 20-years of experience as an attorney representing tenants with their commercial real estate needs. 

Mr. Towne was previously a partner with the prestigious law firm McDermott Will & Emery and with Towne, Dolgin, Sawyier & Horton, a firm he co-founded and co-managed for eight years.  He started his legal career with the law firm Sullivan & Cromwell.

In addition to his law-firm experience, Stan is an adjunct professor at New York Law School and was chair of the Committee on Real Property Law of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.

Mr. Towne attended Columbia University School of Engineering and earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Columbia Law School .
