Rooftops Conference

Rooftops Conference 2012

The Rooftops Conference 2012, held at New York Law School on April 19, 2012, was the Center's second annual symposium focused on the role of real estate occupied by not-for-profit organizations in connection with their charitable purposes. The conference explored how real estate (whether owned, leased, or in space hosted by others) presents mission-related strategic choices, opportunities, and challenges, especially in today’s tough environment.

The annual conference is a forum for meaningful discussion and also a chance to interact with peers in the social sector and the real estate industry.  The conference was part of our continuing work through The Rooftops Project.  Our goal is to provide a forum for meaningful dialogue, research and the exchange of ideas among not-for-profit and real estate industry professionals about the role of real estate (owned, leased or hosted space) in the operational and financial performance of not-for-profit organizations of all sizes and mission types.

We were extremely fortunate once again to have a wonderful range of panelists and speakers from the not-for-profit sector, the real estate industry, the professions, academics, and government.  You can review the agenda of topics and the biographies of our panelists and speakers by CLICKING HERE.
