Rob Finkel is a partner in the Global Corporate Group of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP.
Mr. Finkel's practice areas include a broad range of general corporate transactions, with a particular emphasis on technology companies and technology transactions, including joint ventures and strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, information technology transactions, licensing and technology acquisitions and sales.
Mr. Finkel's clients have ranged from start-ups to multinational corporations. He has represented such companies as AT&T, Atrium Biotechnologies, BellSouth, Cincinnati Bell, Dow Jones, PepsiCo, Citibank, Credit Suisse, McGraw-Hill, Entergy Corporation, CVS Pharmacy, Mastercard, Bank of Nova Scotia, Fireman's Fund Insurance, American Electric Power and Arrow Electronics Corporation.
Mr. Finkel has published on a variety of corporate and technology issues in the M&A Lawyer, Director's Monthly, the Computer Lawyer, Cyberspace Lawyer, the Journal of Internet Law, Intellectual Property Today, E-Commerce Adviser, Global eCommerce, and the National Law Journal, among others.
He is recognized as a leading U.S. practitioner in the corporate and technology area in Who's Who in American Law, the Chambers & Partners Guide to America's Leading Lawyers for Business, LawDragon (as one of the 3,000 leading lawyers in the U.S.), Legal 500 and the New York Times SuperLawyers.
Mr. Finkel received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, a J.D. from Stanford University and an M.A. from Columbia University. He is currently a member of the Board of Visitors of Stanford Law School.
Kevin Logue is a partner in the litigation practice of Paul Hastings in the New York office. He focuses his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, antitrust, securities/shareholder disputes and financial services litigation. As an active member and former vice chair of the firm's National Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group, Mr. Logue regularly counsels boards of directors, Special Committees, companies and advisors on a variety of corporate governance and mergers & acquisitions matters.
He has extensive experience litigating disputes involving corporate governance/fiduciary duties, contests over ownership or control, pre- and post- merger disputes, indemnification, valuation, securities fraud, and class and derivative litigation. Mr. Logue has tried and otherwise litigated to successful conclusion a variety of such matters in Delaware Chancery Court and in state and federal courts in New York and elsewhere. His representative matters in the area include defense of numerous merger fairness challenges, going-private litigation, merger injunction litigation, as well as proxy disputes, appraisal/dissenter's rights actions and a variety of investigations and litigation involving shareholder derivative claims, among other actions.
Mr. Logue received his B.B.A. degree in 1978 from the University of Kentucky and his J.D. degree in 1984 from St. John’s University School of Law, where he served as editor-in-chief of the St. John’s Law Review.
