Profile

Prior to joining the Nanyang Technological University in 2005, Dr. Skoric taught and worked as a research assistant at the University of Michigan. His teaching and research interests include new communication technologies and social change, political communication, media effects, and research methods. His most recent work focuses on the role of cultural variables in the relationship between communication technologies and political development in an international context. He has also conducted studies on video-game violence, framing in the news, effects of web advertisements, and social and political implications of broadband technologies, among other topics.
