The Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts (MICA) is a multi-faceted ministry with the vision to nurture and develop a Creative Economy, Gracious Community and Connected Singapore. The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) is committed to growing Singapore into a dynamic global infocomm hub. IDA uses an integrated approach to developing infocommunications in Singapore. This involves nurturing a competitive telecoms market as well as a conducive business environment with programmes and schemes for both local and international companies.

Media Development Authority (Singapore)

Formed in 2003, the Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA) is a Government statutory board with a dual-role of promoting and regulating the country's media industry.  It plays a vital role in transforming Singapore into a Global Media City and positioning it at the forefront of the digital media age.  Under MDA's guidance is a cluster of media industries, encompassing film, video, television, radio, publishing, music, games, and animation, as well as industry-wide functions such as media services and capability development.  It also hosts a multi-agency office responsible for driving research and development in the Interactive and Digital Media space.
