Welcome to Maysa Razavi, 2011 Graduate Fellow of the
Diane Abbey Law Center for Children and Families!
 

On October 17, 2011, Maysa Razavi joined the Diane Abbey Law Center as its new Graduate Fellow. Maysa will work with Center Director Professor Carlin Meyer, Associate Director Genevieve Wachtell, and affiliated professors and students to promote the Center’s dual goals of assisting children and families in need and preparing students for the ethical practice of family law.

Maysa is a 2011 graduate of New York Law School and former student Research Assistant for the Diane Abbey Law Center. She was the editor in chief and founder of the Center's blog www.justfamilies.org. Also while at New York Law School, she was the editor in chief, founder and active contributor of fashion law blog www.caseclothesed.com, as well as the contributing editor to the school's videogame law blog, www.allyourlawarebelongtous.com. During law school, Maysa has interned at Gottlieb, Rackman & Reisman, P.C., Chanel, Inc., Stuart Weitzman, LLC, and Affliction Holdings, LLC. Before going to law school, she was a Senior Marketing Associate at Ernst & Young in the Financial Services Office. She graduated from New York University, where she earned her B.A. in Dramatic Literature and a minor in Law and Society. She has passed both the New York and New Jersey Bar Exams and is awaiting admission to those Bars.
