Legal employers aren’t always positioned to project hiring needs months in advance. When you need help, you want to find the person suited to your needs as quickly as possible. Our job database -- hosted by Symplicity--can facilitate your task. Our system allows you to spell out your hiring criteria, specify the candidate application materials you require, and determine the manner and the time frame in which you will receive materials from interested applicants. You can specify, for example, whether you wish to receive applications in electronic form or on paper, as direct submissions from applicants or collected online for forwarding in a single batch, and even when the materials should be forwarded.
The database, know as NYLS Career Court to our students and is powered by Symplicity, can be a valuable tool for an employer in search of candidates who satisfy your specific hiring criteria. If you are registered as an employer in Symplicity with NYLS, you can directly input your postings into our database. A member of our Employer Relations Team will review the draft posting and will contact you if any of the information you have input requires clarification. If no clarification is necessary, you will receive an email confirming the details of your posting. The information then becomes immediately available to all NYLS students and registered NYLS graduates.
If you have never registered or have not registered as an employer in Symplicity with NYLS, you can request a User Name and a Password by contacting us by phone at 212-431-2345, by email at career@nyls.edu or registering directly through the Symplicity Employer log on page. You will then be able to complete your employer profile and post your open position.
