Ken Doroshow

  Ken Doroshow is Senior Vice President and General Counsel of the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) in Washington, D.C. As the ESA’s General Counsel, Ken oversees all of the association’s legal matters, including anti-piracy, litigation, business affairs, and intellectual property policy. Before joining the ESA, Ken was Senior Vice President, Litigation & Legal Affairs for the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). As the head of the RIAA’s litigation department, Ken was a principal architect of the recording industry’s litigation strategies for combating the piracy of copyrighted works and directed numerous cutting-edge cases at the intersection of digital technology, copyright, and public policy. Ken also served for ten years with the United States Department of Justice, most recently as Senior Counsel with the Computer Crime & Intellectual Property Section. In addition to his government service, Ken spent several years in private practice with the Covington & Burling and Weil, Gotshal & Manges law firms. Ken graduated from the Cornell Law School and clerked for the Honorable Joseph L. Tauro of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
