| Mr. Nicolakis focuses his practice on patent prosecution and patent litigation. He is experienced in drafting and prosecuting applications directed towards a wide variety of technologies, including cryptography, Internet advertising and search methodologies, data visualization, virtual worlds, social networks and interactive audio/video distribution and processing systems. Mr. Nicolakis also has experience litigating patent lawsuits involving software and digital meda distribution. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Nicolakis worked as a software engineer at IBM in Somers, NY. Mr. Nicolakis also worked as a software engineer at Sapient in Cambridge, MA. Nicolakis received a J.D. from New York Law School in 2006 where he was the first student to receive a Certificate of Mastery in Law Practice Technology. While he was in law school, Mr. Nicolakis coordinated the State of Play conference, the leading academic conference on virtual worlds and the law. Mr. Nicolakis obtained his B.S. in Computer Science at Northeastern University. | |
