Lynnise E. Pantin joined NYLS in fall 2011 to teach Legal Practice. Previously, Professor Pantin was an associate at Debevoise & Plimpton, LLP, where she practiced in the investment management group within the firm’s corporate department. She advised private investment funds, their sponsors, and investors in all matters related to the formation and operation of domestic and international hedge funds. Recently, she was an adjunct instructor of Legal Writing at Brooklyn Law School, where she taught first-year law students fundamental lawyering skills, including legal writing, research and analysis, interviewing, and negotiation. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Professor Pantin was an elementary school teacher in Washington, D.C.
