The Social Science Research Network (SSRN) is devoted to the rapid worldwide dissemination of social science research and is composed of a number of specialized networks in each of the social sciences, including the Legal Scholarship Network.Through the free SSRN website, scholars from around the world post their work, including both published pieces and works-in-progress. Each network and series is searchable by title, author, and subject; users can subscribe to the series to receive notice of each article as it is posted. It is a way of disseminating research and scholarship to the broader scholarly community, not only to get work noticed, but also so that readers can learn from the pieces they download and authors can receive valuable feedback from the audience.
