The Living Law Archive

Alumni Stories

The “Living Law Archive” was established as part of the Harlan “capstone” honors program at New York Law School’s Institute for Information Law and Policy. In the Spring of 2008, seven Harlan scholars, working under the supervision of Professor Richard K. Sherwin, set out to create a living history of New York Law School through some of its most accomplished and innovative alumni. Trained in camcorder use and digital editing techniques, students initiated and recorded the interviews that appear on this site. By commemorating the accomplishments of distinguished alumni, the Living Law Archive aims to inform prospective applicants, current students, the general public and members of the Bar of NYLS’s ongoing achievements.
