Criminal and Administrative Surveillance in the United States and Europe

This C.V. Starr lecture will compare criminal and administrative surveillance in the United States and Europe (primarily France), with a specific focus on attorney-client privilege and confidentiality.

Pierre Ciric ’09 is the founder of the Ciric Law Firm, PLLC. He is a former global executive with experience in financial control and procurement at Pfizer, Inc., Sterling Winthrop, and Sanofi-Aventis, and litigation experience at the National Center for Law and Economic Justice and Proskauer Rose LLP.

Thomas Vandenabeele is a partner at Kellner Herlihy Getty & Friedman LLP, where he practices complex commercial litigation with a focus on bank fraud, money laundering, investigations, and hidden asset recovery across international jurisdictions.
