New York Law School will host a special reception for Second Circuit Judges in The Honorable Roger J. Miner ’56 Reading Room, in the Law School’s Mendik Library.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Reading Room, which houses an archive of Judge Miner’s papers from his three decades on the federal bench. Those papers—which he generously donated to the Law School—include all of his speeches and writings, and the opinions he authored as both a Circuit Court Judge and a District Court Judge. Also included are his case files, along with his correspondence, memoranda, and calendars. The archive contains many photos and the Judge’s numerous awards, honors, and degrees, which will adorn the walls. There are also several video recordings, including an oral history Judge Miner created as part of the Second Circuit’s Oral History Project.
Please join us to celebrate Judge Miner’s many wonderful contributions to law and society. If you are able to attend, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
