Wilda Rodriguez, a third-year Evening Division student at NYLS, was recently honored by the New York City Law Department as the recipient of the Rookie of the Year Award, Senior Student Legal Specialist, for her work in the Torts Division’s Bronx Police Group. Wilda was honored at the City Law Department’s Annual Awards Ceremony and was presented with the award by New York City Corporation Counsel Michael A. Cardozo.
In her brief time working with the Bronx Police Group, Wilda has been involved with more than 30 cases, doing legal research and conducting paralegal/investigatory tasks. The NYC Law Department observed that she is “extremely organized and created a checklist of tasks and documents for use in each case. She does not just complete tasks, but improves upon the systems in place….Wilda is a team player who is highly-regarded by all, not only for her considerable intellect, but also for her charm, positivity, and kindness to others.”
Please join the entire New York Law School community in congratulating Wilda on this wonderful recognition!
