Alexander Stark 3L Wins Second Place in NY State Bar Writing Competition

MKT-Web-Homepage-Banner-011214-v1_2Third-year student Alexander Stark, the Executive Online Editor of the New York Law School Law Review, has won second place in a law student writing competition sponsored by the Intellectual Property Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. His winning submission was his Law Review Note, offering a solution to the problem of the lack of intellectual property protection for fashion designers. Alex accepted the award at the Section’s 2014 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, January 28, at the New York Hilton. Kelly M. Slavitt (r), Chair of the Section, presented awards to Alex, and to Mara Wilber (l), of Columbia Law School, who won First Place. Alex received a cash award, plus also the opportunity to be published in the Section’s publication, Bright Ideas.
