ceremony
- Plan to arrive at the stage entrance
of Avery Fisher Hall (132 W 65 Street) at about 1:30
PM.
- Bring your academic regalia, name card, and a
photo ID.
- DO NOT BRING ANYTHING THAT WILL NEED TO
BE LEFT BACKSTAGE. If you're wearing a coat or jacket, you may want to

warm, particularly during the lineup for the
procession.
- The ceremony will begin promptly at
3:00 PM and should end between 5:15 and 5:30
PM.
- GUESTS MUST BRING THEIR TICKETS. Replacement
tickets will NOT be available at
Commencement.
- The auditorium will open for
families and guests at 2:30 PM. Photos and video are permitted, but guests
are asked not to block the
aisles.
Commencement shout-out
videos
Thanks to the 58 grads who recorded video messages
for this year's Commencement! The footage was edited into two versions--a
15-minute video that will be shown live at Avery Fisher Hall, and a
full-length version that will be available on the Web and included on the
DVD that will be available for purchase. The full length video will be
available online after the Commencement ceremony, on May 14th. Go to www.youtube.com, and search for
"New York Law School".
Commencement Announcement
Cards
Class of 2010 members will each receive 10
Commencement announcements and envelopes, compliments of Dean Matasar and
the Law School faculty and staff. These will be mailed directly to
graduates' homes, at the addresses that graduates approved in the
Commencement questionnaire in EZInfo. Announcements are expected to be
mailed from the printer on or about April 23, 2010. Requests for 10
additional announcements may be sent to commencement@nyls.edu, and will be
filled on a first-come first-served basis, until the supply is
depleted.
