Commencement 2012 at a
glance
- Commencement 2012 is scheduled for Monday, May 21, 2012, at 11:00 AM.
- The location will be Radio City Music Hall, located on 6th Avenue between 50th and 51st Streets in New York City.
- The ceremony will be approximately two and one-half hours long.

CLASS OF 2012 FACULTY TEACHING AWARD: This award allows graduating students to vote for a full-time faculty member to receive the Class of 2012 Faculty Teaching Award. All members of the full-time faculty are eligible for the award, which will be presented during Commencement. The award is given to a faculty member whom the graduating class wishes to recognize for excellence in teaching. While there is no formula for excellent teaching, you should consider, among other things, the following criteria: master of the subject matter; preparation; use of effective teaching techniques; respect for students; respect for different viewpoints; ability to stimulate discussion; and availability to students. Voting for this award will take place during late February or early March.
