Study of statutory protection afforded to inventors under the U.S. patent laws. Emphasizes the nature of inventions patentable under U.S. law, conditions of patentability, rights afforded a patentee, remedies for infringement of a U.S. patent, and special problems arising from the licensing of U.S. patents. Prerequisite: Intellectual Property (CIP155).
