INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS LAW (2) (ILS200)

[formerly Human Rights in International and Constitutional Law]

Professor Nadine Strossen

This seminar-style course examines major international human rights norms and their enforcement mechanisms. It stresses the interrelationship of international human rights law and U.S. law. To encourage and recognize active student engagement in class discussion of the assigned readings, half the course grade is based on class participation; the other half is based on either a paper or exam, at the option of each student.
