NEW YORK, NY, April 12, 2004— Amanda Burden, chair of the City Planning Commission and director of the Department for City Planning, will speak at a Center for New York City Law breakfast at New York Law School on Friday, April 23, 2004 at 8:15 a.m. The event is presented by the Center for New York City Law in the Stiefel Reading Room at the school’s campus at 47 Worth Street (between Church Street and West Broadway). Burden’s talk is entitled “Reshaping New York: Major Land Use Developments in New York City.” There will be an open mike Q & A following the speech. Media coverage is invited, and videotapes of the presentation will be available to the press. The open forum is part of the Center for New York City Law’s Breakfast Series.
