SunGard Higher Education is a subsidiary of SunGard Data Systems providing a wide range of Technology Services to Higher Education. New York Law School and SunGard Higher Education have partnered to provide high quality technology resources and services to the NYLS Community. The Office of Information Technology (OIT) at NYLS is composed of SunGard Higher Education staff providing IT Management, User Services, Network Services, Administrative Services, Media Services and Web Support Services.
User Services oversees the OIT Central Help Desk and PC Support Technicians. The OIT Central Help Desk provides support for technology usage questions relating to network connectivity, e-mail, software applications and distance learning courses, among others. Issues that cannot be resolved in the initial phone call are escalated to on-site technical staff.
Network Services oversees and maintains the NYLS Network and Email systems. The NYLS Network is secured and maintained to operate at a 99.99% uptime rate.
Administrative Services implements and maintains the Administrative Computing Systems used by NYLS. We provide functional and technical support to users of the Student, Financial, Alumni, Human Resources and Career Services Systems.
Media Services provides all audio-visual and media services for NYLS.
Web Services provides technical support to the NYLS Web Team.
