The Academic Skills Program at New York Law School was founded out of a commitment to ensuring that all students learn the analytical skills necessary for excellence in a legal setting. We have three full-time faculty members dedicated to offering courses and programs to serve the academic needs of all NYLS students.

Drawing on cutting edge work examining legal pedagogy, adult learning, and individual learning styles, the program offers analytical skills training to incoming law students as well as targeted programs to underperforming students.
