Students and employees and most contract staff will be issued New York Law School photo identification cards. The identification card must be presented to security officers when entering all Law School facilities (and leased office and Mendik Library areas) and must also be presented to the officer before accessing the Mendik Library. Free identification card holder and accessories are available at the 47 Worth Street security desk.
Those students and employees who do not have their card must obtain a day visitors pass from the security officer at the 47 Worth Street security desk. You will be asked to present another form of identification at that time. To save yourself the additional time it would take to obtain a visitors pass, check that you have your NYLS identification card before leaving home. Students must have their identification cards validated at the beginning of every semester at the Office of the Registrar (Office: Second Floor, 57 Worth Street, 212-431-2300). Identification cards are prepared in the Office of Human Resources (Office: First Floor, 41 Worth Street, 212-431-2131). If you have misplaced your identification card, see staff in the Office of Human Resources to obtain a replacement.
All students and employees should carry and are encouraged to display this card at all times. |
