instructions.

Voice Mail Instructions
Your voice mail box has the same number as your telephone extension.
A) How to enter voice mail
Personal Keys are the grey keys at the top of the telephone and extensions are assigned to
these keys.

If your extension is located at the bottom right group of keys, dial 2100.

If your extension is located at one of the other keys, dial 2100 * (star).

To access voice mail from outside the law school dial 212-431-2100 and during the
greeting press the # (pound) key, then enter your mail box number (your telephone
extension), and then enter your password.

No message indicator light (Student Organizations)
There are several extensions (with corresponding voice mail boxes) assigned to your telephone.
It is not possible for your telephone to indicate a message for your particular voice mail box.
Therefore, you are advised to check your voice mail box upon arrival and each time you return to
your desk.
How to receive outside calls
An important reminder-
If an extension begins with the number 2, outside callers can contact the extension directly by
dialing 212-431-2XXX.
- Student Organizations
To receive outside calls, instruct callers to contact you in the following manner:
Dial 212-431-2899 and during the greeting enter your extension (4XXX).
- Law Review and Moot Court
To receive outside calls, instruct callers to contact you in the following manner:
Dial 212-431-2100 and during the greeting enter the extension (4XXX). If your extension begins
with a 2XXX dial 212-431-2XXX (the extension).
Placing Long Distance Calls (Student Organizations)
Should you need to place a long distance call, contact the Console (0). The operator will place the call.
